Service and maintenance
We offer servicing and maintenance on all alarm brands of alarms and we’ll arrange a service time that is convenient for you. It is recommended that you get an annual service on your alarm system to help eliminate any unexpected or false alarms activations, which can become very annoying for you and your neighbors.
A standard service includes a thorough check of all alarm sensors and working components, which should uncover any faults or problems with the alarm system. We will also load test the backup battery and check the power supply’s voltage. The internal and external sirens will be checked to ensure the alarm is in top working condition. Insects, dust, moisture, greasy film over time can cause difficulties. Yearly services are vital to keep insects out and for your alarm's ongoing seamless good health.
Any additions/alterations can also be completed at this service but may result in additional costs.
24/7 Monitoring and callout service
Raptor Alarms provides 24hr alarm monitoring and IP monitoring. We use Global Security, New Zealand's largest and most trusted privately owned monitoring station who provides fast and efficient service. Monitoring ensures a definite response from the monitoring company and instructions and protocols are strictly followed.
Alarm monitoring means it doesn't matter where you are, or what you are doing, your premises will always have someone to respond to it. Non monitored alarm systems are only reliant on the reactions of people hearing your alarm and taking action and responding to the alarm activation. The signals generated by the alarm send valuable information which is logged at the monitoring station such as; when the alarm was set and unset, who set/unset the alarm, which detector was responsible for triggering the alarm and time of activation. Raptor Alarms is able to issue event history reports upon your request detailing the activities generated from your alarm.

Digital CCTV solutions

Raptor Alarms installs both internal and external cameras, from cost-effective recording systems to the latest in high-end digital storage surveillance systems. Raptor Alarms can also hire CCTV equipment so we can install a temporary Camera System in your premises, to catch offenders in a one off event, this is a fast and effective solution should it be needed.
Intercom Systems
Intercom Systems are mainly used for the screening of visitors before they enter a premise. They offer 2-way audio communication and 1-way video verification. The basic concept is simple; a visitor presses the 'call' button at the Door Station to signal their arrival. The occupants respond by communicating with the visitors at the audio (and video) handset, then releasing the door by a simple push of the button from their tenancy. This releases the electronic lock (or opens the gate or barrier arm) which allows the visitor to access the building.
Intercom Systems can be used for single tenanted applications with just one door station, to a multi-tenanted business or residential properties with multiple door stations and handsets, even accommodating a concierge station for 24hr staff.
Intercom Systems often have built-in keypads which give access to tenants by entering their PIN code. Door stations can be concealed (flush) or surface mounted, and are often vandal resistant stainless steel.
Alarm, CCTV & data pre-wiring
In order to provide the best solution for our clients, we recommend that you consider wiring your security system at the framing stage to ensure alarm components are positioned to maximum effect which might not otherwise be possible once jib is installed and cable access is limited, this will save you money and give you the security solution you really want.
